Trip to Sungei Buloh

Made a trip to Sungei Buloh on Christmas Day. It's my first trip to the wetland, have been wanting to make this trip for years now, but was put off by the distance. Took me more than 90 minutes to get there by train and bus.

Luckily for me, the weather was pretty good. Cloudy skies and NO RAIN :-)



Did not see too much wildlife, maybe i was not looking hard enough. Was therefore pretty disappointed :-(. Some interesting wildlife that i did find interesting were the huge mudskippers, din know they can grow to that size. Also caught plenty of tree climbing crabs and even a "chase", a monitor lizard catching a prawn and savoring its prey up on a tree.

Took me approximately 5 hours to complete all the three designated routes drawn out on the map. Overall thought it was time well spent on a Christmas holiday.

Have been wanting to start a blog for a while now... great to finally start on something embarking into Yr 2011.
